An ABA Code-4 Yellow Grosbeak female (Pheucticus chrysopeplus) was discovered at Mary Jo Ballator’s Ash Canyon Bed & Breakfast on 12 June and was still being seen on the morning of 13 June. “Birding friends are welcome. If you wish to come, you *must* call, 520-378-0773 before coming, so that fire details [a fire is nearby], as well as the status of parking can be given. Please check map at http://AshCanyonBandB.com and please drive slowly through the neighborhood and do not disturb the neighbors for any reason. You will encounter a gate at the beginning of Spring Road with the sign "Private Road". If is closed, please open it to pass through it, and close it again behind you. It is not locked.”
Yellow Grosbeak natural history can be viewed on a recent PEEPS post.
